Membership Information

Interested In Joining Mohnton Fish and Game?  It’s Easy!  Here's How:

1)  In order to apply you must be 21 years of age and have been a resident of the U.S. for at least one full year immediately prior to your application.

2)      Visit the clubhouse during normal operating hours and ask the bartender for a membership application form.  You must fill out the application form at the club.  On the form you’ll be asked your name, age, address, citizenship, occupation, and it must be signed by two members in good standing.  The two members should come with you to sign your application.  If you do not know two members, the club hosts many open to the public events every month, such as bingo, shoots, quoits, hunter safety class, trap shoots, family entertainment nights, kids events, and many more.  These events are mentioned throughout our website.  We recommend you come to the club during any of these events and get to know the officers, trustees, and members.  If you prefer, the club can arrange to have someone greet you at any of the events and introduce you to members with the same interests as yours.

3)      The cost is $50 for the first year and must be paid at the time of application (includes a non-refundable $30 application fee, plus $20 for the first year's dues.)  After your first year you only pay the current annual dues.

4)      At the next monthly general meeting, your name will be put on the Propositions for Membership list.

5)      Attend a one-hour safety orientation at the club on either the 1st or 3rd Sunday of the month starting at 1:00 PM.  You must complete the orientation before being voted on.

6)      At the following general monthly meeting after your safety orientation, you will be voted on during the Election to Membership.  If approved you're now a member of Mohnton Fish and Game and you will receive your membership card by mail.  Your FOB will not be mailed and must be picked up at the club.  Remember to bring your membership letter with you to receive your FOB.  You must have your membership card with you in order to use any of the ranges or enter the clubhouse during normal operating hours.

What To Bring To Your Orientation:

You don't need to bring anything, just try to show up about ten minutes early to fill out some paperwork in advance.  At the end of the orientation, the instructor may be able to give you a tour of the club's facilities if weather and time permits.  If you would like a tour please bring hearing and eye protection with you as we will be visiting the shooting ranges.  You can leave your equipment in your vehicle until after the orientation is over.
